I would like to go home in September, but I don't have a visa for the States and all the flights are going thru the US. The US embassy here is scheduling appointments for visa in 20 days. Crazy!
I got two websites to search for tickets for Europe, www.airgorilla.com or www.airtech.com I don't know any travel agency in Costa Rica and I am not sure how to get home with no visa. This visa issue is killing me...Any help would be appreciated...

I think that the following airlines fly directly to San Jose from Europe Iberia(www.iberia.com) and KLM (www.klm.com). I looked at their website, it looks like they do.

I called Martinair but they said all their flights go from the US. KLM flyies with Martinair...
I called the US embassy to get a visa appointment and got a date for August 28th. I am now confused whether to buy a cheap ticket and hope that I will be able to get a transfer visa or try to find another connection....I really hate borders.
